For MASLD patients with indeterminate FIB-4 (1.3–2.67)
This calculator implements an L2-regularized logistic regression model developed and validated for predicting advanced hepatic fibrosis (F≥3) in patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) who have indeterminate FIB-4 scores (1.3–2.67).
The model was trained on 1,581 patients from the NAFLD DB2 biopsy-confirmed cohort and validated across internal, Asian (LiveFbr), and NHANES population-based cohorts.
Risk thresholds: <0.256 = Low risk (rule out), 0.256–0.592 = Indeterminate, ≥0.592 = High risk (rule in).
Features used (7 inputs + 1 derived): Age, BMI, AST (U/L), ALT (U/L), GGT (U/L), Platelets (×10&sup9;/L), Diabetes status. AST/ALT ratio is calculated automatically.
