Advanced Fibrosis Risk Calculator

For MASLD patients with indeterminate FIB-4 (1.3–2.67)

Patient Parameters

About This Calculator

This calculator implements an L2-regularized logistic regression model developed and validated for predicting advanced hepatic fibrosis (F≥3) in patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) who have indeterminate FIB-4 scores (1.3–2.67).

The model was trained on 1,581 patients from the NAFLD DB2 biopsy-confirmed cohort and validated across internal, Asian (LiveFbr), and NHANES population-based cohorts.

Risk thresholds: <0.25 = Low risk (rule out), 0.25–0.62 = Indeterminate, ≥0.62 = High risk (rule in).

Features used (10): Age, BMI, log(AST), log(ALT), log(GGT), Platelets, log(HbA1c), Diabetes status, Total Cholesterol, AST/ALT ratio.
